Quartz wristwatch
Stripped back to what matters.
A tonneau case on a hard wearing silicone strap, with a dial that carries no numerals at all. Just markers, hands, and the date. Built for days that involve more than sitting still.
The Detail
A dial without numbers.
Markers only. You read the position rather than the digit, which is quicker once your eye learns it.
Tonneau shape.
A barrel case that curves with the wrist instead of sitting flat on it.
A strap that takes abuse.
Silicone does not stain, stretch or hold sweat the way leather does.

Taking Care Of It
Keep it dry.
Three bar handles rain and handwashing. It is not built for showering, swimming or diving, where pressure and heat work against the seals.
Never adjust the date underwater.
The crown is the one opening in the case. Pull it out only when the watch is completely dry, and push it fully home afterwards.
The strap.
Warm water and a little soap. Dry it fully before putting it back on.
The battery.
A quartz movement runs for years on one cell. When the second hand starts jumping in two second steps, that is the signal to have it changed.
