Pagani GMT Automatic Watch
Two time zones, no battery, and a crystal that does not scratch.
A steel case on a folding clasp bracelet, running on an automatic movement wound by your own wrist. The fourth hand tracks a second time zone, which matters if your day involves people in another country. Rated to ten bar, so you can swim in it without a second thought.
The Detail
Automatic, not battery.
Wound by the motion of your wrist, with the option to wind it by hand. Leave it off for a couple of days and it stops until you pick it up again.
The GMT hand.
A fourth hand running on its own, showing a second time zone alongside the first. Set it to home and stop counting hours in your head.
Sapphire crystal.
The hardest material used in watchmaking short of diamond. Keys, desks and door frames leave no mark on it.
Ten bar.
Genuine swimming resistance, not the splash rating most watches at this size carry.

Taking Care Of It
Keep it running.
Worn daily, it winds itself. If it stops after a spell in the drawer, turn the crown gently a few dozen times and reset the time.
Water.
Ten bar covers swimming and everyday exposure. Avoid hot showers and saunas, where heat rather than depth is what works against the seals. Rinse with fresh water after the sea or a pool.
The crown stays closed.
Pull it out only when the watch is completely dry, and push it fully home afterwards. Water resistance depends on it being seated.
Setting the calendar.
Avoid changing the date between nine in the evening and three in the morning, while the movement is already turning it over.
Magnets.
Speakers, laptop lids and phone cases hold stronger magnets than you would think. Prolonged contact affects timekeeping on any mechanical watch.
Frequently asked questions
Is this an automatic watch? Does it need a battery?
No battery. The Bravello Watch runs on an automatic movement, powered by the motion of your wrist. If you leave it unworn for a couple of days it will stop, so wind the crown a few turns and reset the time.
What does the GMT function do?
The extra hand tracks a second time zone independently of the main hands. Useful if you travel, work across regions, or keep in touch with family abroad.
Can I wear it swimming?
Yes. It is rated to 100 metres, so swimming and showering are fine. We would avoid hot tubs and saunas, since sudden heat is what damages seals over time, not depth.
Will the glass scratch?
The crystal is sapphire, the same material used on high-end Swiss watches. It resists everyday scratches from keys, desks and door frames far better than mineral glass.
Which colours are available?
Four: Black Blue, Rose Gold, Blue Red Jubilee and Black Jubilee. Tap any thumbnail above to switch.
How should I care for it?
Rinse with fresh water after contact with salt water or chlorine, dry with a soft cloth, and store it away from magnets. That is it.
